CONNECTING ROD KTM 450-525, HOT RODS 8666

High-quality replacement connecting rod kit designed for durability and performance in demanding applications. Manufactured from hot-rolled ASTM 4115 steel and case-hardened to 58-62 Rc, the kit provides exceptional strength and longevity. Its advanced design includes strategically placed side scalloping and vent slots to minimize high RPM bearing race distortion.

The double-forged rods improve grain flow and maintain dimensional consistency, while shot-peening and double-honing enhance strength under heavy loads. The small ends are double-drilled for additional lubrication and cooling, critical for wrist pin bearings under extreme conditions. Thrust washers and crank pin bearings are silver-coated for added lubricity. Sold as a complete kit with rod, crank pin, crank pin bearing, top-end bearing, and thrust washers.
